These roamers have been getting stronger all week but, We might have an answer, WSJ is reporting that it this actually working on a car. Apple has been creating awesome mobile phones and tablet but, Apple now wants to go to another much large product category: automobiles!
The Cupertino, California company apparently has over hundreds of people working on this new project code named: “Titan”! This new car is suppose to electric powered. One of the people have said that Apple is working on a Miniwan type car but, a Apple Spokesman denied to comment. We are not expecting this car to get on the road anytime soon – As much as several years before you can see one of these on the road.
Brian White, an analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald, is asking one big question: Will Apple car be “The iPhone of the future?” A note to clients Apple wrote:
Apple has clearly shown its interest in the auto market with CarPlay that was rolled out in early 2014; however, there has never been any official statement around an Apple Car. In our view, as more “things” become computers, we believe Apple is very well positioned to leverage its heritage in the industry developing hardware and software innovations together across a vast digital ecosystem, creating easy to use, aesthetically pleasing products.
“In this comment, White also cites some comments from Ford from last year’s MWC where they called cars “the smartphone of the future.” By looking at the Auto Market this could be significant thing for Apple! It could make upwards of $2 Billion in profit and that’s only 2%.
Everything is speculating that Apple is going to buy Tesla – One of the biggest company in making “expensive” “luxurious” cars! If Apple does-not buy Tesla then there will be quite a big of a competition. These are still rumors and if Apple does make a car then it should be a big deal!
This article will be updated periodically so check back often.

After a debate that lasted more than a decade the internet will now be classified as a utility under the classification of Title II. This classification gives the FCC the power to discipline the ISP if they to try to have “fast lanes” – which gives ISPs to throttle website that they don’t like or use a lot of bandwidth like Netflix or YouTube until the company and/or customer pays extra.
The new proposal is expected to be introduced on Thursday. After the introduction, the FCC will hold a voting at a open meeting on Feb. 26th – where most of the five commissioner must approve the rules for them to take effect.
Last year in October Chairman Wheeler tried to push “fast lanes” and failed because, President Obama pushed Wheeler to support the Title II.
Before this rule – For Example: Since NBC is owned by Comcast it could slow-down it’s competitors like Netflix, Hulu, and/or Amazon Instant Video for it’s own profit. EA could pay your ISP to throttle Steam downloads to make Orgin more appealing with faster download speeds. This wouldn’t really affect companies like Netflix because they can pay the ISPs to have their services run faster but, for smaller start-ups it would be really hard.
Now – With FCC’s Tittle II classification that it originally created for telephone companies will make internet a utility – which means (For example) NBC can’t have a fast lane or A ISP can’t throttle YouTube or Netflix and ask them to pay more to restore their speed.
Waynesboro, Va. // Feb. 2, 2015: nTelos announces it’s “4G for all” program that which will bring LTE to more than 81,000 customers in Roanoke, Va. and Charleston W.Va. This comes after nTelos saying that it will reduce it’s LTE coverage improvement due to a roaming contact with Sprint that allows nTelos customer to roam onto Sprint’s LTE network and Sprint customers to roam onto nTelos’s LTE network.
The nTelos / Sprint LTE surprisingly comes a few years are Verizon and AT&T has already deployed their LTE network in Roanoke.
nTelos is also investing $175 million in rolling out it’s 1900 Mhz LTE and upgrading ti’s existing CDMA network in western Virginia and West Virginia.
We don’t have a date on when exactly this Sprint and nTelos combined LTE coverage will be rolling but we expect it to be in 2015! When LTE does come it will bring both nTelos and Sprint more customers along with more competition between AT&T and Verizon. I am exited to get the LTE coverage in my area! Thanks Sprint (and nTelos)!
UPDATE March 4th 2015:
Are a Twitter conversation with a nTelous employee, Sprint will be working in it’s own network separate from nTelos who has already deployed their LTE in these areas. Sprint on the other hand is trying really hard to get their customer off the nTelos network and on to their own and deploying LTE. I have been experiencing my phone losing connection for a few moments and tends to connect to a extended network. The 3D connection is also much faster these days.

On Jan. 27th YouTube switched to using HTML5 by default and the next day twitter user @AndrazZnidar Posted a twitter photo showing the option 2880p 5K as one of the resolution options on a 5K video.
@MKBHD @LinusTech @austinnotduncan @Logan_RTW @Jon4Lakers @luke_lafr @DetroitBORG @UnboxTherapy 4K is so last year. pic.twitter.com/5szp0UlUgO

Here is the video this was seen on!
The next day – the same twitter user puts up two images showing that the video was actually in 5K! The first and the second photos show that it is a 1.02 Gib, 5624×2304 at 25 fps! The “stats for nerds” from YouTube also shows that the video resolution is 5K.
At this point the 5K option has been removed but, this shows that YouTube has the ability to stream videos at 5K – Why has YouTube not enabled that option yet is unknown. No word from YouTube about this option yet.
@MKBHD @LinusTech @austinnotduncan @Jon4Lakers @DetroitBORG UPDATE: Video is now not available in 5K, but it was. pic.twitter.com/sqzH2sh6ca

If someone finds another video that has a option of over 4K then let us know with a comment or a tweet @ddshdyt!
Just in case the photos get deleted we have uploaded all images to our server. Attached Below.

YouTube has been slowly moving to HTML5 and now it has dumped using Flash as default. YouTube hasn’t totally removed flash – it’s still there but, now most of the content will load in HTML5. The HTML5 standard will work in Chrome, Internet Explorer 11, Safari 8, and in beta versions of Firefox. YouTube engineer Richard Leider said the time had come to ditch the aging Flash in favor of HTML5 as the latter, used in smart TVs and other streaming devices, had benefits that “extend beyond web browsers.” YouTube has been using HTML5 since 2010.
HTML5 allows YouTube to bring it’s videos to mobile devices that don’t support flash like iPhone. HTML 5 did not meet the website’s needs five years ago but now it does. The one major key in this switch is HTML5’s adoption of Adaptive Bitrate (ABR), which lets the site change the bitrate and resolution of the videos based on the viewers internet connection. YouTube says that this will reduce buffering by more than 50% globally, and by as much as 80% on heavily congested networks. HTML5 also supports VP9 codec, which allows higher quality video at a bandwidth reduction of 35%, and APIs let YouTube show fullscreen videos with standard HTML UI.
HTML5 IS NOW YOUTUBE’S DEFAULT ON CHROME, IE 11, SAFARI 8, AND FIREFOX BETAS
Even though Adobe thinks so, Flash is not the vest solution for web video.
As part of its 2015 Broadband Progress Report, the Federal Communications Commission has voted to change the definition of broadband by raising the minimum download speeds needed from 4Mbps to 25Mbps, and the minimum upload speed from 1Mbps to 3Mbps. Which means that internet companies can’t call a crappy 4 Mbps internet broadband. This don’t mean that everybody will have a minimum of 25/3 Mbps.
Currently, 6.3% of US households don’t have access to broadband under the previous 4Mpbs/1Mbps threshold, while another 13.1 percent don’t have access to broadband under the new 25Mbps downstream threshold.
“When 80 percent of Americans can access 25-3, that’s a standard. We have a problem that 20 percent can’t. We have a responsibility to that 20 percent,”
Commissioner Wheeler said.
FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel wants the minimum broadband standards to be 100Mbps – Which would put us closer to the standards of the interest in other countries like South Korea.
“We invented the internet. We can do audacious things if we set big goals, and I think our new threshold, frankly, should be 100Mbps. I think anything short of that shortchanges our children, our future, and our new digital economy,”
Commissioner Rosenworcel said.
Even though I understand that It would be hard for some IPSs in some area to have 100Mbps over copper lines – I still think that It should be 100Mbps for future safety. We don’t know when the next broadband standards will change and with 4K content viewing and production getting cheaper everyday 25Mbps might be not that much in the very near future. KIM – 24Mbps is perfectly great for highly compressed 4K streaming. We just need to be prepared when we have 6K or 8K streaming in future and the broadband standard is 25Mbps.

Here is what is in the official Snapchat blog post:
Snapchat has always celebrated the way that you and your friends see the world. It’s fun to experience different perspectives through Snaps, Stories and Our Story.
Today we’re introducing Discover.
Snapchat Discover is a new way to explore Stories from different editorial teams. It’s the result of collaboration with world-class leaders in media to build a storytelling format that puts the narrative first. This is not social media.
Social media companies tell us what to read based on what’s most recent or most popular. We see it differently. We count on editors and artists, not clicks and shares, to determine what’s important.
Discover is different because it has been built for creatives. All too often, artists are forced to accommodate new technologies in order to distribute their work. This time we built the technology to serve the art: each edition includes full screen photos and videos, awesome long form layouts, and gorgeous advertising.
Discover is new, but familiar. That’s because Stories are at the core – there’s a beginning, middle, and end so that editors can put everything in order. Every edition is refreshed after 24 hours – because what’s news today is history tomorrow.
Discover is fun and easy to use. Tap to open an edition, swipe left to browse Snaps, or swipe up on a Snap for more. Each channel brings you something unique – a wonderful daily surprise!
Happy Discovering!
Love,
Team Snapchat
