How to jailbreak iOS 9!

After months of wait.. The jailbreak for iOS 9 has just dropped! The Pangu team’s iOS 9 jailbreak is available for Windows. The jailbreak is compatible from iOS 9 to the latest version of iOS 9.0.2.

The jailbreaking process is very similar to previous jailbreak tools and there are small changes.. So, here is a step-by-step guide on how to jailbreak iOS 9..

Pre-Jailbreak Preparation

  1. Disable both TouchID and passcode/password.
  2. Disable Find my iPhone temporally.
  3. Put your phone into Airplane Mode.
  4. Backup your device. Make sure you don’t do a encrypted backup or else the jailbreak will fail.

Jailbreaking Process

  1. Download and run the TaiG on an Windows system.
  2. Once the application recognizes your desired device and click “Start” to start the process.
  3. Wait until the prompt tell you to unlock your device and re-enable jailbreak mode. Once prompted re-enable Airplane Mode.
  4. Now wait for the prompt to open the Pangu app, once you open the app – Tap on Accept and Allow the Pangu app to access to your photos. (The Pangu team is a very trusted team, If you do not want to allow access to your photos then wait for another jailbreaking tool. It’s known that the access is only used to move files around.)
  5. Open you let the tool finish the process, the Cydia app should appear on your device.

Notes:

The WWDC app will appear on your device, DO NOT DELETE or OPEN the app. The app is used to inject the jailbreak onto your device.

The Pangu app will also appear on your, DO NOT DELETE or OPEN the app. This app is used for a Step 4 in the Jailbreaking Process.

Never unplug, use or mess with your device during the process. Do not worry about the “Storage is full message” either, it’s normal.

There are thousands of tweak on Cydia and on some of them are compatible on iOS. Downloading a tweak that is not compatible can destroy your device. Here is full list of some of the tweak are compatible: Click me!

This text will crash the iPhone it’s sent to!

A bug in iOS 8 will crash whoever’s people it’s send to.

This trick only works on iOS 8 with an iPhone and iMessage.

This bug is with the notifications and whenever someone gets the notification of the text it will crash and reboot their phone.

Send this to anything you want with iOS, iPhone & iMessage.

You can save yourself by turning off iMessage or using “Do Not Disturb” (Not getting notifications).

WWDC 2015 is a thing! June from 8th to the 12th!

Like all the past years Apple is having a event for it’s developers. This year it’s from June 8th to June 12th. Like every year we should expect everything that’s coming from Apple in the following year.

We are also expecting some new hardware refreshes like a new Apple TV.

The Event will be live on the Apple website along with being rebroadcasted by major news sources.

There is not much to say until we get closer to the dates. We will definitely have a video right after the event so stay tuned!

How to get refund from the App Store for that app you “accidentally” bought? 2014

There are over thousands of apps on the iOS App store and most of them are craptacular and sometimes you download a paid app by accident or the app is not compatible with your device or its just not what you thought it was or the worst of app its just buggy or keeps crashing.

Can you get a refund from the app store for the app? Well YES you can, Kindof. This isn’t an official refund policiy for the App Store because, the iTunes Store Terms and Conditions specifically states:

All sales and rentals of products are final.
Which means that your outcome might be different. The refund process might take a day to even months and sometimes you might never get your refund.
How to get the refund you might ask, Well there are two steps! One is to report a problem through the Store itself. Which will tell you to Call or E-Mail support and The second way is to go Call, Chat, E-mail the Apple support directly. I have found that going through the store is much faster and easier since they already have your information such as, App name and the problem.

Through the Store

Step 1: Go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com and then, Sign in with your Apple ID.

Step 2: Click on Apps from the navigation panel and then, Choose or Search the App that you what to get the refund for.

Step 3A: Click “Report a Problem”

Step 3B: After you click the button the section will expend and give you a drop down menu to choose one of these options:

  1. I didn’t authorize this purchase
  2. Item didn’t download or can’t be found
  3. Item won’t install or downloads too slowly
  4. Item opens but doesn’t function as expected
  5. Problem is not listed here – This will ask you to describe your problem

Going through the Apple support directlly

You can do this by heading over to this link! You will have to choose iTunes → iTunes Store → (And then choose your problem)

Again, as I said I do think that going through the store is much better since they support already has your infromation!
Also, This isn’t an official refund policiy for the App Store because, the iTunes Store Terms and Conditions specifically states:
All sales and rentals of products are final.
